    The side lateral raise exercise is one of my favorite’s at the gym to really add size and definition to the side delt (medial head). I also notice that the bend in your elbows is more natural than the dumbbell lateral raise AND I get more engagement from the trapezius muscle with the machine than free weights.

    From the starting position I like an almost 90 degree bend in the elbows and raise your arms until they are parallel to the floor. I add this machine in towards the end of the workout and love doing drop sets to really feel the burn.

    Very solid piece for your training studio or commercial outfit. This really hits the lateral delts better than any other exercise in the gym. I used to HATE doing a side lateral raise with dumbbells and never thought a machine would have the right ergonomics to provide real gains. Super happy with this piece in particular as we have the entire classic line circuit.
